Rewards Terms
Terms for using Hi-Five Rewards and customer reward features.
Last updated: 9 July 2026.
Introduction
These terms apply when you use the Hi-Five Rewards app, rewards.hi-five.co.uk or related customer loyalty, referral and reward services. Hi-Five is operated by Outsmartm Limited. Contact hifive.platform@outsmartm.co.uk.
Participating businesses
Hi-Five provides technology that allows participating businesses to operate their own loyalty, referral, rewards and messaging programmes. Rewards, offers, benefits, discounts and redemptions are normally provided by the participating business that operates the relevant loyalty programme, not by Outsmartm Limited or Hi-Five, unless Hi-Five clearly states otherwise.
Eligibility and age
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of digital consent or adulthood in your country if higher, to create or use a Hi-Five account. Children may not create Hi-Five accounts. A parent or legal guardian may manage family-related rewards through their own adult account using limited labels such as initials, nickname or "Family member 1".
Do not enter a child's full name, date of birth, contact details, medical details or appointment notes into Hi-Five.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and secure. You must not share your login credentials, impersonate others, create duplicate accounts for abuse, or use Hi-Five unlawfully. Hi-Five may require verification before processing support, deletion, data access, security or account recovery requests.
Points
Points earned with one participating business normally remain within that business's own loyalty programme and are redeemable only against rewards, offers or benefits made available by that business.
Hi-Five points have no cash value and are not money, electronic money, stored value, bank deposits, financial products or legal tender. Points cannot be sold, exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, inherited, assigned, traded, converted, combined across participating businesses or used outside the relevant business's loyalty programme unless the applicable programme rules expressly allow this.
Each participating business sets its own points earning, redemption, expiry, referral, review/social activity, campaign and dispute rules.
Rewards and redemptions
Rewards are subject to availability, eligibility, expiry, business rules and campaign terms. The participating business is responsible for reward availability, eligibility, fulfilment, quality, cancellation, expiry and customer-service decisions relating to its own rewards.
Hi-Five does not guarantee that a reward will remain available or that a participating business will continue operating its programme.
Referrals
You may receive referral codes or links where enabled. Referral points are awarded only when the relevant participating business's referral conditions are met. The participating business may refuse or reverse referral points for duplicate, fraudulent, self-referral, unverifiable or manipulated referrals or where the referred person does not meet the campaign conditions.
Reviews, recommendations, surveys and social actions
Participating businesses may award points for eligible reviews, recommendations, social-media actions, surveys, quizzes or campaign engagement. Any review or endorsement must reflect your honest opinion. Points must not be conditional on a positive review or misleading endorsement. You may need to disclose that an incentive was offered where required by law or platform rules.
Points may be refused, reversed or deducted if the activity is fraudulent, misleading, duplicate, unverifiable, removed or in breach of the applicable campaign rules.
Manual adjustments and fraud
A participating business may manually add, deduct, reverse or adjust points where reasonably necessary, including to correct errors, process missed referrals, reverse cancelled transactions, address suspected fraud or apply goodwill adjustments. Manual adjustments should be recorded with a reason.
A participating business may suspend, cancel, deduct, reverse or refuse points, rewards, referrals, redemptions or campaign benefits where it reasonably believes there has been fraud, abuse, misuse, duplicate account activity, fake or misleading reviews, referral manipulation, unauthorised use, breach of programme rules or breach of these terms.
Disputes
Points, rewards and redemptions are operated by the participating business that runs the relevant loyalty programme. If you disagree with a points balance, expiry, referral outcome, reward availability, redemption decision or manual adjustment, you should contact the relevant participating business first.
Hi-Five may provide technical support to the business, but the business is normally responsible for deciding whether points or rewards should be awarded, deducted, reinstated or redeemed.
Opting out and rejoining
You may leave or opt out of a specific participating business's loyalty programme without closing your central Hi-Five account. If you do so, you may lose access to that business's points, rewards, referrals, messages, offers and redemption options.
You may be able to rejoin later. Previous points, rewards, referrals, benefits, tier status or redemption rights will be restored only if the participating business agrees or its loyalty rules expressly allow this.
Messages and marketing
You may receive service messages about accounts, points, rewards, referrals, redemptions, appointment reminders, aftercare, security and support. Marketing messages are subject to applicable law and preference controls. At launch, Hi-Five supports internal messages and email. SMS, WhatsApp and similar channels may be introduced later.
Healthcare/dental information
Hi-Five may support limited appointment reminders, treatment follow-up messages and aftercare instructions from participating businesses. Hi-Five is not a clinical records system, emergency service or substitute for professional advice. Do not use Hi-Five for urgent medical issues. Contact your healthcare provider or emergency services where needed.
Suspension, closure and inactive accounts
Hi-Five may suspend, restrict or close an account, or restrict access to any feature, where we reasonably believe this is necessary to protect the platform, users, participating businesses or Outsmartm Limited. This may include suspected fraud, misuse, security risk, unauthorised access, unlawful activity, abusive behaviour, reputational risk, breach of these terms or activity that may harm the platform.
Hi-Five may suspend, restrict or close a customer account after 24 months or more of no login or meaningful account activity. Account closure may result in loss of access to points, rewards, referrals, household labels, messages and connected business programmes.
Payments
Hi-Five does not process in-app payments at launch. Payment features may be introduced later through providers such as Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay or other providers. If enabled, payment providers may process payment details under their own terms and privacy notices.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, Hi-Five is a platform provider and is not responsible for a participating business's reward availability, service quality, clinical advice, offers, fulfilment, business closure, consumer obligations or customer relationship decisions unless Hi-Five has expressly agreed otherwise.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these terms, except where applicable consumer law gives you mandatory rights to bring a claim in another jurisdiction.
